Basecamp Collective is Utah's first fully integrated youth development campus — where young people earn credit, find support, perform, build, and discover who they are. All under one roof.
Utah's young people deserve a place where they can earn credit and build a business, find a therapist and take a stage, make something with their hands and figure out who they are — all under one roof, in one community that believes in them.
Basecamp Collective · The ascent begins here
Every great campus needs a spine. Ours is two organizations that are already proven, already serving families, and ready to grow together.
Screen-free youth programming with a mission the community already believes in. Permanent physical space unlocks grants, donors, and the exponential reach BE.IRL has earned but not yet captured. A location changes everything.
An existing, accredited education program with an active student base. OBL provides immediate day-one enrollment, Utah Fits All scholarship revenue, and the operational spine that makes Basecamp financially sustainable from the moment the doors open.
Each floor is independently viable. Together, they create something none of them could build alone.
The physical home for screen-free programming — hobby labs, creation studios, and collaborative maker time. The reason families walk through the door. BE.IRL's permanent location unlocks grants, donors, and the community credibility the program has built.
Every team member can say: "I help kids discover what they're actually good at — without a screen telling them who to be."
Credit recovery, homeschool co-op, and project-based learning. Utah Fits All scholarship eligible ($8,000/student/year). Immediate revenue from an existing student base. OBL is the operational and financial backbone of the campus.
Every team member can say: "I help students earn credit for real skills they already have — and build the ones they want next."
Mental health and coaching services co-located with school and programming. Providers sublease space, generating revenue while removing the burden of separate appointments and separate commutes for families. Sliding-scale access for all income levels.
Every team member can say: "I make it easier for a young person to get help — and harder for them to fall through the cracks."
A multi-use performing arts space rentable by local instructors, ensembles, and groups. Both a community mission and a revenue stream. Feeds the full Stage vision in Phase 2. Where students learn to be brave in front of a room.
Every team member can say: "I help young people find their voice — and the courage to use it in front of a room."
Hands-on building, prototyping, and startup mentorship for young people who want to make things. The Foundry is the program Silicon Slopes says it wants for the next generation — and the one most likely to attract corporate sponsorship from the tech community.
Every team member can say: "I help young people go from an idea to something they actually built — and learn what they're made of in the process."
Each phase is financially sustainable on its own. Phase 2 and 3 are made dramatically more likely by Phase 1 — but they're not dependent on it. This is how you build something that lasts.
Five programs under one roof. BE.IRL + OBL anchors. Wellness, arts, and Foundry Lite as co-tenants. The proof that integration works.
The Stage at full scale. Expanded Foundry. Full Wellness floor with FQHC pathway. Second location or expanded footprint in the corridor.
Owned campus. 15–20 acres. The fully realized Basecamp Collective — a landmark for youth development in Utah and a model for the country.
Multiple independent revenue streams mean no single program carries the full burden. The model is resilient by design.
One ask per conversation. Always end with a referral. The founding investor window closes when the lease is signed.
