Utah's young people deserve a place where they can earn credit and build a business, find a therapist and take a stage, make something with their hands and figure out who they are — all under one roof, in one community that believes in them.

Basecamp Collective · The ascent begins here

Built on two anchors

Every great campus needs a spine. Ours is two organizations that are already proven, already serving families, and ready to grow together.

Co-anchor · Nonprofit

BE.IRL Foundation

Screen-free youth programming with a mission the community already believes in. Permanent physical space unlocks grants, donors, and the exponential reach BE.IRL has earned but not yet captured. A location changes everything.

Co-anchor · Accredited

Out of Box Learning

An existing, accredited education program with an active student base. OBL provides immediate day-one enrollment, Utah Fits All scholarship revenue, and the operational spine that makes Basecamp financially sustainable from the moment the doors open.

Basecamp Lite · Investor Overview
Basecamp Lite — BE.IRL Finally Has a Home. A focused version of Basecamp Collective built around BE.IRL as the anchor.

Five programs. One community.

Each floor is independently viable. Together, they create something none of them could build alone.

Anchor Tenant

BE.IRL Creative Hub

Screen-free youth programming · Nonprofit

The physical home for screen-free programming — hobby labs, creation studios, and collaborative maker time. The reason families walk through the door. BE.IRL's permanent location unlocks grants, donors, and the community credibility the program has built.

"We exist to prove that the most powerful thing a young person can do is put down the screen and pick something up."

Every team member can say: "I help kids discover what they're actually good at — without a screen telling them who to be."

Revenue Anchor

OBL Academic Center

Accredited education · Utah Fits All eligible

Credit recovery, homeschool co-op, and project-based learning. Utah Fits All scholarship eligible ($8,000/student/year). Immediate revenue from an existing student base. OBL is the operational and financial backbone of the campus.

"We exist to show every student that learning is not something that happens to you — it's something you build."

Every team member can say: "I help students earn credit for real skills they already have — and build the ones they want next."

Sublease Revenue

Wellness Suite

Mental health · Pediatric · Coaching

Mental health and coaching services co-located with school and programming. Providers sublease space, generating revenue while removing the burden of separate appointments and separate commutes for families. Sliding-scale access for all income levels.

"We exist so that getting support is never the hardest part of asking for it."

Every team member can say: "I make it easier for a young person to get help — and harder for them to fall through the cracks."

Community Mission

The Stage · Performing Arts

Dance · Music · Production · Rentable studio

A multi-use performing arts space rentable by local instructors, ensembles, and groups. Both a community mission and a revenue stream. Feeds the full Stage vision in Phase 2. Where students learn to be brave in front of a room.

"We exist to give every young person a stage — because performing is how you learn to be brave in the rest of your life."

Every team member can say: "I help young people find their voice — and the courage to use it in front of a room."

Next-Gen Pipeline

The Foundry — Maker + Entrepreneur Lab

Building · Tinkering · Launching

Hands-on building, prototyping, and startup mentorship for young people who want to make things. The Foundry is the program Silicon Slopes says it wants for the next generation — and the one most likely to attract corporate sponsorship from the tech community.

"We exist to make sure the next generation of builders doesn't have to wait until college to start building."

Every team member can say: "I help young people go from an idea to something they actually built — and learn what they're made of in the process."

Three phases. One campus.

Each phase is financially sustainable on its own. Phase 2 and 3 are made dramatically more likely by Phase 1 — but they're not dependent on it. This is how you build something that lasts.

Phase 01 · Now

Together, at Basecamp Collective

The bottom line

This isn't a different idea.
It's the same vision, entered through a door you already believe in.

BE.IRL needs a location. OBL provides the operational spine. Wellness, arts, and the Foundry make it the campus Silicon Slopes is waiting for. The question is whether your name is on it when it opens September 2.

Let's build this together
